Mary Ann Grew up in the Northeastern corner of Alabama. Mary Ann’s husband, Paul and she met and married in college. He grew up in the same area as she did. After Paul graduated from pharmacy school, he and Mary Ann moved to South Central Florida where they spent the first 12 years of their marriage.
Paul and Mary Ann have two children and three grandchildren. Their Daughter Emily graduated in 2000 from the University of Montevallo. She completed her graduate work in Speech and Language Pathology at Western Carolina University. Shas one son, Charlie, and is married to Daniel White. Their son Matthew graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and works in Sales in the steel industry. He is married to the former Karen Champion. They have two sons together, Hudson and Andrew.
As a member of First United Methodist Church, Mary Ann has served in several leadership rolls, including the administrative Board and the Board of Trustees. She has also worked actively with the State and Local Board of Realtors serving as local President and the chaired several committees at a state and local level.
Mary Ann has worked with the Corporate Foundation of Children which provides grants for child abuse prevention agencies throughout Alabama. As Chairman of the state communications committee, she worked to establish a public relations project that encourages Realtors throughout our state to contribute a gift to the Children’s Trust fund in honor of their customers/Clients. This project has raised thousands of dollars for the Corporate Foundation for Children.
Mary Ann Has served as president of her local Board of Realtors and has twice been named Realtor of the Year. RE/MAX International has recognized Mary Ann as Broker/Manager of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award and the Distinguished Service Award given to Realtors who have made a significant impact on the realtor community.
